I usually enjoy my trips to the cinema, but last Saturday my friend and I went to see Book Club, and i was so looking forward to a cinema with grown ups in and no kids! Unfortunately I was wrong, this dad walks in with a girl no older than 8 and sat next to us!!! To a film talking about fifty shades and sex!?????? If i had gone and complained I, d have missed the film, so after constantly hearing "what does that mean"??? They left early. It totally distracted me from enjoying the film. Who let a child in???????? I was going to complain as we left, but the ticket office was so busy I couldn't wait. Can someone explain why a child was admitted to a 12A film?????
What I like best about Showcase is the online ticket purchase service which is fast and reliable allowing me to get tickets in minutes. I use this service often because it spares me of waiting in line at the till. And I can even see my rewards amount from my Insider4 card and use it to get a discount if I want. I totally recommend getting an Insider card because you get 10% reward on every purchase which can add up to a considerable amount for those who watch many movies as I do. Rewards can be used to pay for tickets and/or snack combos. The XPLUS screen does it all. It is the best screen to watch every blockbuster and even more. Great seats. Great service. Great staff. Great snacks. The only cinema I ever go to.

Free parking just have to register your car at the concessions stand. Staff are always welcoming, very friendly and helpful. Facilities usually clean and well presented although sometimes the rest room can be in need of Maintenance. Overall we like going to see films here and will continue to do so.
Free parking by registration of your car at the main desk. Frequently use this cinema as it's convenient to me. Staff usually very helpful and friendly. Nice place to view the latest films. Cinemas are closing their doors due to on demand streaming services, one day the experience of the cinema will be a thing of the past so support your picture house whist you still can.

The staff are friendly and they make good coffee. The sandwiches are a little expensive and can be a bit hit and miss at times. The hot food looks nice though (even though I haven't tried it) and the bar is well stocked with lots of different options.
This is a cinema with a difference. The cafe and art interests with which the venue is identified has made it a cool hang out place for people with diverse interests. The restaurant has grown by leaps and bounds. Yesterday, I tucked into a spicy Thai vegetarian dish which at £6 for a bowl full was enough to satiate my hunger. Fresh vegetables were served with wholegrain rice. In fact I liked it so much I went back today. They were out of rice but I was happy to try out couscous in place of the rice. I have not had couscous before to my mind and it was a good change from rice. I would say I am a little biased in favour of Phoenix. I have been a frequent visitor over the years. I would recommend it to anyone to try out the many things on offer.

Love the Curve. Nice facilities and good views from all seats I've sat in. Just wish that tickets didn't sell out so fast but shows just how in demand the productions put on there really are! They are reasonably priced and the service is always great.
Went to Crazy For You. Great night. As you would expect with a Gershwin show, packed with some great songs, some of which have become classics of the great American Songbook. A rework of the 1930's show Girl Crazy, but with more Gershwin songs added. Another great night out at Curve.

This is a great theatre. I went to see a production of ' Wierd Sisters ' in the studio. This only seats a around 50 people, so it quite intermate. The plate it's self was at very close quarters, as I was sat on the front row but did not detract from the performance. There is a bar which sells a good range of drinks. And you can even order your interval drinks too. There is a pay car park across the road. Not sure of the charges. I would highly recommend to give a production at The Little Theatre a go, it's well worth the money.
I always have a fantastic time when I go here. The shows are brilliant. I highly recommend going 😀😀

Enjoyed time here however has lost its spark now with new owners, place is clean, tidy and inviting, toilet were good size in males and didn't smell. The actual show felt rushed however had humour for both adults and children. I think with time it could improve. The seating area in bar is nice and spacious.
A lovely quaint theatre in the city centre 200 meters opposite Premier Inn which has free car parking for Hotel guests.
